Trade him for some help on the left side, in a package for Provorov or Romanov for example, and sign Klingberg. His value is higher than Lauzon, who went for a 2nd, and Schmidt, who went for a 3rd, but the latter had salary cap implications.

I’d be interested in rolling the dice on Zadina. Zero interest in Hronek.

What’s a Zadina deal look like?

If Edmonton can’t get Puljujarvi on a smart RFA deal and want to spend the money on Kane instead I’d offer Zadina and Tuomisto for him.

Maybe for J.T. Miller or Boeser in some type of deal*
(Yzerman targeted Miller before in the McDonagh trade)
Don't think Detroit wants to move on Hronek but he'd be an interesting piece.

Boeser would be huge for Detroit. Miller had a career year in the year leading up to him being UFA. I think on an average year he’s the 70 point first liner from previous seasons and not the current 84 points in 69 games Miller.

He would fit in great in Montreal. Montreal has a lot of good young defencemen and a bunch of prospects but no one to run a power play.

I'd have no interest in anything like that. If we sign Kane we can trade out Foegele for mid pick or something. I don't see us having issues signing Puljujarvi or Yamamoto. We might not be able to keep Kane.

He’s actually not all that great as a PP quarterback. He’s very good at transitioning the play up the ice 5v5 though. Just make sure to pair him with a solid defensive D and don’t try and ask him to shut down star players

Dude, you don't have to tell people about the weaknesses in his game. How else are we supposed to find some rube to take him? :naughty:
