I'm completely fine with this trade. Wasn't interested in this draft and we have too many RHD as it is. Getting an 85 point feels relatively cheap, we'll see what his contract will shape up to be, but overall I think this is a major W

Writing was on the wall when they couldn't get him to sign. Bummer because he seemed like Blake's best draft pick as far as instant success as a freshman, WJC etc. Spence actually has shown it at the pro level though.
