It's a great game and I will continue to buy it every year but for those who play modern NHL and strive for realism I don't think it's made many strides since about FHM8.

It hasn't because the AI fundamentally is as stupid as before with some minor upgrades. Only thing FHM does is add more data to the game (leagues etc.) every year.

Cannot for the life of me figure out how to import faces, logos, etc..

Depending on what you want to do:

1. In an existing save you need to copy the data (logos, faces, ...) into the save directly. Go to "../data/saved_games/XXX.lg/graphics/" (XXX.lg = name of your save) folder and copy your data into the corresponding folders (team logos into "logo_teams, league logos into "logo_leragues", player pics into "player_pics" and so on).

2. If you want to copy them into one of the Quickstarts (so every new started game has them) you do the same but go to the following folder: "../data/quickstart_games/XXX.quick" (where XXX.quick is either Current.quick, OpeningDay.quick or Historical.quick).
