OT: Fantasy Pick 'em Pool - Game 1 - @ Capitals

It's that time of year again! There are some changes this year that should lead to a wider range of picks being viable. Unless something turns out to be broken, this is how it will be set up each season!

1) For each Rangers game this year, everybody is welcome to comment with their two selections (one player from each team) who they think will contribute to the game-winning goal.

2) A correct answer is worth 45 points minus the number of minutes that both selected players combined were on the ice for, ignoring seconds. Some examples:

- Kreider scores the game winner and has 15:40 TOI, and you also picked Hughes who had 18:12 TOI.
That's 15 + 18 = 33 TOI; you get 45 - 33 = 12 points.

- Reaves scores the game winner and has 8:55 TOI, and you also picked McDavid who had 22:07 TOI.
That's 8 + 22 = 30 TOI; you get 45 - 30 = 15 points.

- Fox scores the game winner and has 26:15 TOI, and you also had Dach who had 15:45 TOI.
That's 26 + 15 = 41 TOI; 45 - 41 = 4, so you get the minimum of 5 points.

3) If your pick gets an ASSIST on the GWG, then you will receive half the points that you would have gotten had he scored it. Ties will be broken by the number of points acquired by goals.

4) I will always try to start the threads the night before with an updated leaderboard in the first post, and will only accept predictions posted before the scheduled start of the game.

5) In games that end in a shootout, whichever player scores the deciding goal will be given the GWG for the purposes of scoring.

6) In the event of a selection not playing a single second of TOI during a game, anybody picking them will be given the teammate with the next highest jersey number as a replacement, with numbers rolling back over to 1 after passing 99.

7) Posters must select two players, one from each team, or else they will not be eligible for any points.
