Has anyone bought items from them before ?

Do their jerseys come with a verification number to ensure they're authentic fanatics jersey, even if they're not signed and with a coa, or do they only do that with their signed jerseys ? I'm referring to ones with a number and name on the back for the verification number unsigned, signed, or both.

Thanks.

I found that the Fanatics branded clothing was vastly inferior quality (to what I've been used to from pre-fanatics and at team stores). I refuse to purchase from them (haven't since their first year).
Yeah, I've never dealt with them before, but got a jersey supposedly signed and authenticated by fanatics, but on their website it doesn't state that, just that its the jersey of said player. I've searched ebay and put their authentication numbers to check, as those jerseys are signed and I even messaged the sellers to ask if they bought it from fanatics signed and they said yes.

Though, this is all the "signed" jerseys that have a verification code starting with 'A'.

I don't see the point in putting a sticker on a regular jersey to prove it came from there ?

Have you bought an unsigned jersey of a player and it came with a verification code so you could verify it's from fanatics ?

Depends on how long ago I purchased
Now I'm getting intrigued. I just found a few on eBay that start with B and the seller says they bought it from fanatics as such, but when I check it on Fanatics website, it comes back as just a regular jersey.

I'm now confused, or amazed at how many possibly fake fanatic signed jerseys there are.

I have never purchased jersey from fanatics. I have 20+ yo jerseys in my collection.
Alright fair enough.

I just found a Luka Doncic fanatics signed jersey and when I checked it, it doesn't mention being signed. Dude wants 2k for it.

There's a lot of these that don't say they're signed and it's something you can clearly tell online. I get the ones that obscure the numbers, but when people are clearly putting the verification code for everyone to see and it doesn't say it's signed.... I'm either doing something very wrong only to get the odd one to say it's signed, or their system is f***ed.

Some of their jersey authentication online has better information. I've seen some reverse retro signed jerseys that just say signed jersey by said player and some will depict reverse retro signed by said player.

A non signed jersey wont have an authentication code because theres nothing to authenticate. Youre buying from an official partner and there wont be anything else you need to know that you arent receiving a knock off.

One thing to note is a fanatics signed jersey will be a real jersey whether its a replica or a "real" jersey. If you buy items that are jsa or psa authenticated the signature is likely real but you could be getting a knock off jersey or a custom jersey which both usually look absolutely terrible. Usually a custom jersey is a tshirt with the players numbers on it so it sort of looks like a jersey but it's basically a signed t shirt

Link some of those listings. Once again non signed items wont have a coa sticker or a listing on the fanatics verification page.

Edit
Pretty sure i just saw the luka doncic listing you mentioned. That jersey is real and if I was in the market i wouldn't be concerned about that item.

Thanks for the info..

I've never dealt with fanatics before, but now they're an official member of every professional league in NA and I think the player's union for those leagues as well.

I assumed they wouldn't give out verification codes so people could verify their jersey is legit, but not saying signed confused me, as I'm use to PSA,JSA, AJ Authentic saying that when you check.

My issue is just that the crests seem to be made of some weird material, such that the whites aren't really white but more of an iridescent gray. This is an issue for a logo like the Hurricanes which is supposed to be defined by a big splash of white. The crest of a Fanatics jersey ends up looking very, very different... borderline knockoff quality.

I don't notice it nearly as much in the logos that don't have much white. For example I bought a Whalers jersey and while inferior quality, from a streetwear perspective it's not different enough to be noticeable to your ordinary non-collector.

Honestly their verification could be better. The information isnt all uniform. Like i said, some items has better detailed information about the signed items. It should always tell you who signed it, the color jersey, and if it was a standard, alt retro, or special jersey.

Both are signed. The Mahomes one isn't inscribed.

I found a bunch more that look like the Mahomes one where the person says they bought it from fanatics signed, but when you verify, it doesn't say that.

I can't imagine the 15 I found the said it came from them signed, all are forged. Especially when they take a clear as dat picture of the code.

Their system is rather brutal.

Where it says player name, that means the player listed signed it. The second image looks like a fanatics officially signed 16X20 signed by mahomes. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase that item at all.

Ive yet to hear of fake fanatics stickers. If you see a fanatics sticker on an item and it comes up the item is going to be official.

I've only purchased signed jersey from team store or team foundation
I wouldn't even trust them. I read a guy bought what was supposed to be a game worn jersey form the Rangers. The guy took it to a show to be autographed by that player. The player looked at it and said he never wore that jersey. For autographs i don't believe ANY autograph unless I got it personally.

I took a closer look at the team store tonight and the Adidas are much better quality crests and stitching.

Modifying my post above, I noticed that the crests of the Fanatics Whalers jersey looks pretty good, thinner than the Adidas but a good sharp white. From a distance you wouldn’t tell the difference.

But the crests on the Canes jerseys (all designs) look like shit, with an almost pixelated sheen to them. I can’t bring myself to buy one, because I wouldn’t be able to unsee that.

So I guess some look better than others. Not very helpful for making an online purchase.

I cant vouch for an NHL fanatics jersey but my wife bought me an "official" nfl jersey from then for my birthday. It has pressed logos, numbers and player names and she paid $199.99 + tax CAD - it even says 'built to the exact specifications and blah blah blah"

I see a few people responded to me so ill reply here. Interesting to note how people feel about the fanatics vs addidas. I recently bought my first jerseys in years and they are all reverse retro jerseys i bought a v1 off ebay and the new reverse retro and all mine are addidas. I dont know how they compare in person to fanatics brand because ive only seen them online.

All my jerseys prior to these were old AF, CCMs. I did try on both fanatics and addidas to try on sizes but they were stars jerseys and not my team so i didnt look at them closely. I did like the fit of the fanatics as it felt larger but i went w addidas because i have a fanatics shirt that faded in 1 spot on the first wash and i heard their products were cheap. Im likely to buy a real jersey next month so im going to look harder at them. Maybe I'll luck out and my jerseys wont look pixelated because its hard to f*** up rangers when theyre letters and not a complex design.
