i hate the window lickers that do this while i am watching it on TV. once or twice a game is fine, but when it's constant i say give them the boot. when i'm at games and some noob keeps doing it they get a few "down in front" warnings, then they get the usher. problem solved

I was sitting in row 3 today and thinking the same thing. There were a few people banging on the glass after every hit and I wanted to ask them if they were Pejorative Slured monkeys.

Thanks for sharing. This made my day. I never understood the glass banging.

Reminds me a little bit of something that happened to one of my friends.

Years ago I got my hands on tickets from a work vendor and invited a group of friends. Lucky guys because they never go to games and these seats were on the glass. I told them to keep their drinks off the ledge, but they put them up there anyway. I think they were getting brave because there wasn't much hitting in the game. I was so happy when a beer ended up in one of their laps by the third period.

I had a good laugh out of it. (me in the far right)

And even fans from a section down had to comment...
