alright, now at least we can complain about how VAR should not be used vs. complaining about how VAR altered an outcome

It will be fun to see five years from now if I was wrong. I didn’t like the idea of VAR and now I absolutely hate it. Might as well have an app where people at home watching the game can push “penalty” or “no penalty”. I get it with offsides (even then as with Lovren it isn’t just a simple question of someone being closer to the goal than the last defender), but in situations like with Llorente you are just moving someone’s subjective view of the situation somewhere else. I honestly have no clue how anyone can disallow that goal. Would have made 100x more sense to give Spurs a penalty if they wanted to do something with it.

I bet we will spent as much time discussing if they should have used VAR or not as we now are on the actual situations.

Maybe time will prove me wrong. Actually looking forward to see.
