It’s one or the other. You either see the best Kante of his career because his technicality and decision making with the ball has drastically improved or you see him chase the game.

The fatigue level we'd have against Saints to me makes it not worth it. We have another final to win. I would play a full rotated team there and forget about it.

Southampton is a bottom five defensive team in poor form and frequently concede 3+, especially to top table teams.

Positive Kante performances this season have been few and far between imo. I think it's fine after the way he left everything on the line last year. It was one for the ages.

They really need young reinforcements in midfield.

Rice, Tchouameni, Gallagher, whatever.

They have to limit Kante’s minutes and use him sporadically so that you see quality more frequently, because he definitely still has it.

Man, this summer was going to be massive for Chelsea regardless of the ownership change.

Alonso and Azpi want to leave, Thiago is 50 years old, Rudiger is gone already, they have no backup RWB, Christensen is likely leaving.

And Jorgi/Kante age.
