Here's what we know about Las Vegas and their hockey team:
1. Las Vegas is not a real city. Never has been, never will be. It's where good taste and intelligence go to die. Everyone should probably experience it once, but if you want more than that, seek help
2. In 2018 everyone knows the Jets would have beaten them had they not left absolutely everything on the ice against Nashville. That Jets/Preds series was one for the ages, and maybe one of the all-time great playoff series. No way either team had anything left to give after that.
Personally, I have to decide whether or not I'm happy about this. In order of hatred, from most hated to least, my ranking is Oilers/Knights/Avalanche. It will feel extra good if we beat Vegas, but extra bad if we don't, whereas Colorado would not stir such strong emotions in me, either good or bad. Part of me wishes we were playing Colorado, because I'm not sure I'm ready to go all-in, emotionally, but it is what it is. Go Jets!
