Missed 5 games due to the Liga Stavok Cup of the Future, and he's back for todays game and is playing on the 2nd line. Maintaining a ppg pace so far, and he has the best ppg on his team; he's a player worth following.

EDIT: 2 goals in today's game so far since posting, so he's over a ppg. His team is currently playing against Belye Medvedi, who are currently 2nd in the Eastern Gold conference, so they're a decent team.

As DivochLubo said, it's because of the Liga Cup. I shouldn't make presumptions.

He was with U18 at liga stavok cup of the future. I think he had two points in three games there. They were playing U20 teams of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Caught his games vs. Russia U20 and Belarus U20 - was one of U18s best forwards in the tournament. Really nice mix of technical puck skills (really soft hands, pressure management) and power forward habits (bulldozing through other players to open ice for himself and teammates, strong checking). Didn't come away with any points in either game, but came close a fair few times. Looks like he could be a potential first rounder.

13 goals in 25 games in the MHL as a 16 year old seem pretty impressive. How is he looking so far. See him as a riser next season?
 
In pre-season (MHL) games (friendly) he showed (powerful shot) very good statistics for a player of his age (1.6 ppg), but after the pre-season tournaments began he slowed down a bit (in particular, at the recently concluded Sakharov Cup he did not score any points (here, however, it is worth noting that his team Sputnik scored almost no goals in this tournament)).

He signed, so that pretty much means he is coming. I think some Russian guys around the CHL are taking some time to get visas squared away. Which is typical & not surprising really. Prob will come once that all gets taken care of, assuming it does.
