A very interesting forward prospect from Finland. So far this season he has scored 60 points (23 goals and 37 assists) in just 22 U16 league (C-juniors) games for the Blues U16 team. He has also played for the U18 2nd team, playing 9 games and gaining 3 points.

As a 14 year old, he already is 177 cm / 5'10". Could be a very interesting prospect to follow the couple years.

I've seen Huuhtanen play several times during the last two seasons. He's a pretty good player with some good attributes, including good hands and a hard shot, plus he plays physically. On the other hand, I don't think he's even the top 2003 born Blues prospect, as currently I prefer center Verner Miettinen and winger Ville Niemi over him.

Finally got invitation to Finland U16 national team. I thought he was right up there in Tuomaala&Salminen category when last saw him at Pohjola Leiri year ago

Tied for top scorer with Samu Salminen in Finland's u18 camp recently and so far has 20g 12a 32 pts in 36 gp in u20 SM-sarja for Tappara. Not much talk on him but could end up a great value pick if he slips past the 2nd round.

I don't think there's any chance he gets drafted in 1st or 2nd. Probably more a late round pick, like 5-7.

A boom/bust who doesn't really offer much outside of goal-scoring ability.

Well goal scoring is pretty important I'd say . Also plays the game with an edge which is good to see

Super weird that he got left out of the WJC.

10 goals, 18 points in 23 games, +9, 33 penalty minutes, 71 sog
this season in the WHL for Silvertips.
Very bad stats, but he was a 7th rounder, is a rookie and I assume is playing 3rd line so he's probably a little better than that. Not sure why team Finland would want a WHL 3rd liner on their team and if he's on the top 6 then those stats are really, really bad.

First 15 games : 5 points, -2, 26 shots on goal,
Last 15 games : 26 points, +15, 60 shots on goal

Man, should have sent at least 1 scout to the CHL....
- would have been nice to have him vs Germany....

in his last 4 games, 12 points (4 goals)
