Kamloops Blazers most recent first-round bantam draft pick. Behm already possesses good size at 6'1" and pairs that size with a real good skating ability, at times making it look effortless. Behm has good vision in the offensive end but like most players his age Behm needs a more consistent effort on defense but he is young, that should come of with age. I also believe he is a pretty good baseball player

I’ve seen him play more than a few times over the years in Calgary minor hockey. One of the best IQ’s and offensive skillsets I’ve seen in Calgary over the last few years. Could be a good one.

Time to start keeping an eye on Behm. Named WHL Player of the Week (ending 9/29) and with Finnie returning last night from NHL camp, it’ll take some of the attention away, Behm’s been receiving. Talk about looking like a dominant player. Finnie looks all of that too with 2 goals in his season debut as well..

5 Goals and 2 Assists for the 200 pound winger in first 3 games this season. His totals last year? 12 Goals and 19 Assists, 31 points in 68 games. He’s a beast in front of the net with his size and quick hands. So good bet he keeps this up all season. Where he’s drafted, we’ll have to wait and see how his season shakes out. Gonna have to see a lot more in transition but one things for sure, he has some real quick hands around the net.

There’s a coming out party in Kamloops. Remember he was the 13th OA pick in the 2022 Draft, so this isn’t unexpected by many.

Good start to the season in Kamloops. Watching them live tonight, going to be keeping a close eye on Nathan.

I can't understand why he hasn't shown up on the "experts" lists yet. He isn't one of Tankathon's prosects. Ep doesn't have him in their latest top 32. Surely a big fast draft eligible who leads the WHL in scoring should be in everyone's top 32.

How do we rate his physical game?
He seems soft, not very physical, and sometimes looks weak on his skates.

He is all about finesse. Great shot, smooth hands (although he loses the puck a lot), very creative, skates in 10-2 a lot.

Definitely a riser and a player with a high offensive upside, but not a power forward by any mean, and not the best skater either.

He'll rise in the rankings but he needs to go to a certain style of nhl team or fear he'll flame out. Say this as he reminds me a lot of Martin Kaut. Good at everything but great at nothing(hockey IQ is close though). Also like Kaut big body but doesn't really use it or know how to yet and not someone who would do well in a checking role imo. Unlike Kaut though he's not a late bday and can't grow a full beard already so maybe with time and hitting the gym hard that will come. Still a player I like but think whether or not he becomes a good nhler will depend a lot on who drafts him(hopefully not the Avs because they'll ruin him for sure)

I've watched him twice live this season and he is not a player that jumps out at you as he has no skills or traits that really stand out, other than maybe a good shot and release.

That being said, he continues to pile up points on a very mediocre Blazers team that is sorely lacking offensive skill. Hope it continues but i'm still somewhat on the fence with him 🤷‍♂️

His skating leaves a lot to be desired, seemingly no extra gear and not very strong on his skates as noted above. Lafreniere pops more than Behm does (and I find is generally more noticeable shift-to-shift) but the points keep coming for Behm, curious to see where this season takes him.
