Been looking at Fernström for a while and since there's been some recent U17 footage of him, he's someone I can come away impressed with since before.

He has a great shot and a very good frame, he's a decent two-way forward with good skating and vision. Hard to get a read off of his weaknesses but from what I was able to see from highlights, he's a great, High-IQ player who could go high in a 2024 Draft already filled with potential Swedish talent.

Orebro is compiling a pretty impressive group of young players.

He´s putting up some real numbers right now, will be intresting to see if he will be called up soon.

Called up to the SHL? Not likely if you’re asking me, atleast not for some time, unless there are a lot of injuries. (Not counting 13th F with 3 shifts the whole game)

Heard he may be considering NCAA. Does he look like a top 2 round player? Haven’t been able to see any J20 games yet

imo i would say high second rounder. he might be a first rounder, if he continues to be this point productive i would say 1-2 round.

Every single post of yours has been about this player, what skin in the game do you have?
hmm 3-4 comments about a kid that did a good performance in Hlinka and point leader j20 nationell of all 2024 swedish prospects, weird that I have some comments about that kid?

How is he playing and what draft range is likely?
His game is really maturing and he's become a much stronger team player recently, as well as earning some minimal SHL minutes. I like how much more aware he's become in the defensive end as well. Would guess he goes somewhere around Round 2, maybe a chance to sneak in the 30-35 range if he has a big end to the year.

I'll lower this to late R2-3. He still struggles a bit with off-puck engagement and consistent effort making. Has the potential to be a decent player but he needs to be way more active when he's not trying to score.
