1/3rd of the Okanagan line that has been utterly dominant so far this season in the CSSHL. The Ruck twins and Preston are 1,2 and 3 in league scoring. I‘d argue Preston is the better of the three players and is the straw that stirs that line. Strong skater with a great release on his shot. He has great offensive instincs and the skill to keep up with most anyone his age group. I personally believe hes a shoo-in top-10 WHL bantam draft pick, and in all likelyhood come away being selected in the top-5x It‘ll be interesting to see how he grows and to see where he’ll go in the WHL draft.

The hero in game #3, scored the game tying goal in the dying seconds of 3rd
and the OT winner; 2+3 game for him.

Just looked into this guy a little more and holy cow, he's good. I never really watched that level of hockey much in the past, so this doesn't mean anything, but I've never seen a player that age with that kind of release. The rest of his toolkit is really impressive too. Catton and Preston will be a lot to handle for Spokane's opponents in 2024-25 – too bad they likely won't get more time than that together.
