Perhaps the most underrated Czech prodigy because he simply isn't seen enough in games. A technical, large (6'3" now, but will still grow!) and speedy player, one of the best among the Czechs in ’07 (perhaps right after Benak).
It was unfortunate that his club (Rovaniemi) in the u18 category, where Mikes should now play due to his age, plays in the Mestis league, and not in the SM-sarja. Last year, playing in SM-sarja-U16, Mikes showed an amazing game (goal through several opponent players, short-handed goal, lacrosse goal).
The new season also continues to delight with beautiful solo passages.
I hope that during the season he will try his hand at the U20 team, fortunately in this category the RoKi club is represented in the highest category, and then many will pay attention to Mikes. Not many '07 players play in SM-sarja-U20, and if anyone does, they are potential stars who have been in the spotlight for a long time (Kotajarvi, Paju, Boelius), or recently ;-) (Frolo). Mikes has the prerequisites to be played for an older age - in the pre-season games he was already involved in the U20 team and was visible.

He made his debut yesterday in the U20-SM-Sarja league. And in the very first game (in which the RoKi team won) he scored two points. For comparison: the Finnish leaders born in 2007, Orpana, Inkinen and Sallinen, currently play only in the U18 league. Currently, in the U20 league, only 6 forwards born in 2007 have scored points on the scoresheet (among them two Czechs: Mikes and Frolo, as well as Slovakian Chovan). If Mikes continues like this, he could become the best among them.

Finally noticed by the coaches and nominated for the ’07 Czechia team. He will make his debut at the tournament in Sweden, starting in a week.

At the five-nation tournament that ended today, he was one of the most notable figures in the Czech national team. He played in the first line with Katolicky and Poletin. He scored points in every game.

Yesterday he played his first game in the "Mestis" League.
It is important to note that in the U20 League, Mikes' team is in last place, and in the "Mestis" League the team "RoKi" is also not performing very well, being second from last in terms of goals scored. In a stronger team, Mikes' statistics would be significantly higher.
