Another seriously underrated player among the young Czechs. Among the players of the 07th year, I already noted Mikeš, for the 06th year I will add Vaculík, besides, he is a late 06th and also goes to the 2025 draft. In today's crushing (8:0) game against strong Slovaks (in the Slovak team played including those who already have a separate topic on the forum Dravecký, Chovan, Šatan, Svrček, Tomík) Vaculík scored two goals, one of them while playing in the minority in the Forsberg style.
In general, Vaculík is a specialist in shorthanded goals. He is also a great specialist in goals “a la Forsberg”. Here these two skills are combined. Has excellent skating and a strong shot.

Many strong players of the u18 team, who performed well at the Hlinka tournament, went to the CHL leagues. Not all of them will be able to get to the April championship. This is where players like Vaculik, Lisler, Žemlička, Švec come in handy...

There are always debates about where to play in the pre-draft season for this or that promising hockey player - at home, for an senior team or in one of the youth North American leagues. Vaculík already involved in the the senior team in the preseason this year. Next season he will probably “grow up” to the adult team. However, Zlín plays in the Chance Liga and not the Extraliga. Maybe in Vaculík’s case it would be more profitable to go overseas, if of course he is selected in the CHL draft?
...In the meantime, he continues to delight the fans with goals after high-speed solo runs (today's game) and continues to be the best statistical player of 06 and younger in the "Extraliga juniorů", except, of course, Novotny, who is leading by a margin (while being late 07 (!)).

Considering the level of the Czech U20 league it's really not crazy. I'm very worried about the 2025 draft. I'm having trouble finding interesting profiles. It smells like a draft with only 7 players drafted. Benak was supposed to secure a top 15 pick but he moved away from it and his physical size will make a 1st round selection very complicated if he doesn't make big progress.

I'm more concerned about the 2026 draft. And it’s not to say that the guys from ’08 are noticeably weaker. It just so happened that many of the leaders in ’08 were born at the end of the year (Fodor, Huk, Tomek, Tomanek, Sekanina) and, accordingly, will be drafted with the guys from ’09, of whom there are already enough. Draft 25 worries me less, besides, a good group of late 06s should shoot on it: the same Vaculik, as well as Skok, Hes, Svec. Well, it also inspires optimism that both years (07 and 08) won their tournaments a few days ago without losing a single game, as did 06.

Benák is 1st overall calibre player, nice troll btw, like all of your takes.

A 5.7 winger who produces 1.14PPG in Czechia U20 to U17... I think you don't know anything about hockey, the NHL system, or global competition to think that this is a 1st choice profile.

To compare, Eduard Sale, with a better size, produced 2.28, he came out 20th, Martin Frk with 1.41 and a better size came out 49th.
