Agree, he will be taken first or second(to Zether) out of swedish players

Pettersson however is one of my favorite Swedish prospects ahead of next years draft.

Lucas is the highest ranked Swedish player on NHL Central Scouting mid-season ranking. Not surprised, he has been great the times I have seen him in J20 and the national team this season.

Yeah I’m curious as well. He’s not lighting the U18’s on fire but is playing his part and seems to have a very projectable game. He’s almost universally viewed as a high-2nd rounder (at least as of midterm rankings) and yet there are a few opinions I trust that seem to rate him higher than that…he seems to be something of a sleeper prospect with a real chance of a 1st round evaluation and perhaps the best pro prospect forward (and maybe player overall) of a Swedish class that lacks a true high level star.
