Disclaimer - completely "LeProspecting" here while surfing EP (specifically looking at Gabriel Wsol)...but this kid's stats I thought stood out in a way that may be worthy of at least a "hmmm...worth following".

He led the Swiss U15 league in scoring last year (among U14) and this year, at the U17 level, he's easily out-pacing older players. He's a late 2010 so he's actually still 13...till tomorrow! EP says he is already 5'-11", 160 which isn't nothing at that age.

His age 13 stats compare in the same realm to the best Swiss prospects of the last couple of decades (especially that goal scoring), and he's doing it while being a late, late birthdate for his class unlike most of the others. No idea if league structures from 15 years ago in Switzerland would even be worth comparing so not trying to draw huge conclusions here - but he's far ahead of anybody (if he stays at this pace) in recent vintage too, including already known and followed prospects with potential like Jonah Neuewenschwander, Alessandro Dominechelli and Nolan Rohrbach.

Anyways, hopefully this is intriguing and will be filled with posts 3 years from now...and if not, this thread will die a quick death...

Yeah he is a guy a lot of insiders of Swiss hockey are particularly high on. He is supposed to have the best shot of any Swiss prospect in recent memory. He also played some U15 games this season and had like 5 ppg or something. Now he already plays on the first line for the U17 team despite being one of the youngest players in the league.

Havent seen him myself as I barely have time to watch some NHL hockey these days but he probably is someone who will become relevant in the future. But before you can watch those kind of prospects play for the U17/U18 national team its to early to come up with a serious outlook for them anyway.
