Right now there’s like a 10% chance, ska would need to release him. But they realistically could send him to the MHL or VHL to win a championship there instead. Coach’s comments today are cryptic I dunno but the management and insiders in Montreal are expecting next year

If I'm an exceptional young Russian player watching the way SKA is handling this kid and many others before him, I'm doing everything in my power to get to NA before 18.

I don't understand what they are thinking?

Do they think they can bully young kids into staying with them?

IMO bullying them just does the opposite. As an organization they need a change in philosophy, help your young exeptional players along the way, don't make them prisoners, it's ridiculous and psychologically just a wrong aproach.

Exactly what I am thinking, they should praise him and give him more money, saying we can't offer you NHL money but we can give you the max money here + pay for your house, car, etc. Try to sell it to the player
