Well everyone who has watched him closely knows that he raised his game to another level after U20´s. It is just not the points but the way he played two way and so on..

I think you're missing the second part of his sentence. Nazar was solid all over the ice, not just on the score sheet.
Anyway, to get this back on track, it does seem like Demidov, or a player with a high offensive upside is exactly what the Hawks need. They have plenty of forwards that project to be bottom 6 forwards but need high-end talent.

You can always identify the “point watchers” and those who actually watched the games.

So if you cite the data that very obviously conflicts with what you want to be true yet isn’t that means you don’t watch the games?
He’s a 5’10, one-way forward. He’s going to either succeed or not based on his scoring.

that's unfortunate for demidov. michael oliver rotenberg prefers grinders and washed-up nhlers to actual skill. demidov will play 5 min a game next season in the best case scenario and that will stunt his development. chicago should take this into account when they decide not to draft demidov. huge red flag.
He can play in the VHL. Marchenko played in the VHL in his last season in Russia and then came to Columbus and scored 20 goals...

You’re missing his point. He didn’t have a season that was good enough to where you don’t draft Demidov.
Demidov is in a completely different class than Nazar.

I believe the restriction is he can't be loaned to another KHL team - like Michkov was loaned from SKA to Sochi. The only KHL team Demidov can play for next season is SKA. However, he can be "loaned" to a SKA junior team like he was this past season when he played in the MHL for SKA-1946.
I'm pretty sure he won't play in MHL, but he can play for SKA-Neva in VHL, like Marchenko did in his last season in Russia.

I assumed he was going to be in the VHL next season with his brother, who also has 1 year left on his deal and is of course undrafted so I wonder if the team that's lucky enough to get Demidov would opt to also use a late round pick on his brother.

It was sounding more like Demidov was solidifying himself as the obvious #2 pick in the draft(in terms of what realistically happens). But Levshunov going #2 is picking up more steam. And now there's buzz about Demidov might slide until 5 or later now.
Several teams will be making a mistake then. He's absolutely the 2nd best player in the draft.
