So this recall meant he didn't play in the AHL all star game. He participated in the skills contest on Sunday, but he was not on the ice last night.

I'm sure he doesn't care. The goal is NHL. At all costs. I really hope they don't just play Rosen with scrubs.
Have to ask him - he's already got 8 NHL games to his credit so it's not a debut.
NHL paycheck too. Not a chance he caresI'm sure he doesn't care. The goal is NHL. At all costs. I really hope they don't just play Rosen with scrubs.
No joke. People don't get AHL versus NHL.NHL paycheck too. Not a chance he cares

I’m old enough to remember two days ago when Lindy Ruff said Rosen was getting a great opportunity.
Anyway…he’s been sent back
This was his "great opportunity" - 11:46 TOI, 3 shifts in the 3rd, with 2:05 TOI.I’m old enough to remember two days ago when Lindy Ruff said Rosen was getting a great opportunity.

Ruff's not here to develop the youngsters. He's going to play the players who give him the best shot to win. I can't really blame him, as much as i would have liked to see more of Rosen. He needs to make some noise with the minutes he gets and then he'll get more. This was his "great opportunity" - 11:46 TOI, 3 shifts in the 3rd, with 2:05 TOI.
Not that Rosen looked great by any means, but there's effectively zero chance at a playoff spot now, 3 forwards were out, and maybe more will be out tomorrow.
Why not give the kid a decent look for at least 3-4 games, with different linemates? I don't get it.
