Was looking for info on this player and came across an account worth following for info on Finnish prospects (maybe made by someone who posts here.... not sure?) Had a nice write-up on him. Wanted to give them credit.

Looks like a potential goal scoring prospect from Finland for next year's draft. Playing for Karpat at the U20 level in his -1 season.

Viita is a player with the ability and desire to score goals. In particular, I consider desire to be an important quality, because I believe it will have a positive effect on development in the future. The young forward has excellent shooting skills and he is not afraid to use them. He is very intelligent player with a high Hockey IQ. His game is very straightforwardness, but at the same time, he has the ability to be often available, when he is on the ice. Viita is a player who can't be given extra time or space because he takes advantage of these situations. Passing skill is one quality where Hockey IQ can also be seen. What makes him an interesting player is also the fact that he can bring physicality to the ice, even though his strength levels are still a bit lacking. He wants to make tackles and I see a lot of opportunities here. I also really like the fact that he also has defensive awareness and actively participates in defensive game as well. I consider Viita's overall potential to be really high.

Has anyone seen him play? He has pretty solid stats for his -1 season with 16 pts in 10 games at the U20 level.

Will be curious to see if he gets to play at the U18s for Finland.

Any chance he gets called up to Liiga? His production at the U20 level is pretty similar to what Helenius did there last year. He is on the smaller side, though.

Played 0 minutes that game. I'm not that high on him than others I think his effort and competitivness is lacking. Good opportunistic scorer but overall game is not premier.

Maybe he can work on those things? I’ll be curious to see how he does next year and where he plays.
