I think Czech hockey fans these days either think we have multiple generational players ahead and we are getting back to top 6 soon...or don't trust our hockey development and CSLH at all and are super pesimistic. I was in the first group after 2012-2014, now I'm more in the second group....being in the first group felt much better.

I would probably clarify that. We are in the top 6, we are just a long way behind the top 5. We are probably at our own level.
I'm sorry I found out late where he played today, I would definitely go see him.

On the bright side... our gaps are filling
There are some D developing that look to be NHL quality. Galvas is a nice surprise. Kral is doing extremely well in AHL and may crack the lineup next season. Maybe for both but encouraging. Jiricek is Top 5. Svozil looks to be a very good prospect that slipped in draft. Then we have Hamara/Moravec/Pinis who may all get drafted. Krutil looks to be good as well. I don't think they all make it, maybe none of them do but it is a nice pipeline right now.
2 C's look to go in round 2 or 1 this draft (Sapo and Kulich).
So, basically, it is the opposite of our problem. We've been developing wingers for years but been weaker at C, D and G. Those seem to be the guys that are coming.
Back to Sale - get him in a different league, do NOT call him generational or baby Jagr. Anyone remember Frk?

Added assist on GWG in OT. Played on the first line today. Over 16 minutes TOI. Kid is here to stay. I think we can assume his junior days are behind him.

Anyway he should make the world junior team but are we talking about the rumored summer one or the one at the end of the year? He would probably not look out of place at either one of them.

A guy to watch for sure but great stats in the Czech U20 needs to be taken with a grain of salt the Hlinka will tell us more.
