Indeed. 21 points in 10 games in J20 last year. But now far back from 2 PPG in the OHL a similar level league. Don’t know what to make of this. I thought he was invisible at the WJC in the key moments. Strange season. Don’t think he’s ready for a mens WC role, maybe next year

This eerily reminds me of Alexander Nylander's OHL season (which was his first and only season)
- as in, dominant in the OHL and in WJC at 18 and u18 year old

On what planet is the J20 even remotely close to the OHL? Come on. The J20 is a big step down from the OHL.

That's being nice.

This is just not true. Otto stenberg was under a point per game in J20 and yet dominated against OHL/whl/Qmjhl players at u18’s last year. Those players scoring at a much higher rate in their leagues. Teams 1-10 in J20 could match up with top 1-10 teams in any of the Canadian junior leagues.

Slovak hockey collapsing in a real time..?

The rumour is that Dvorsky was meant to be part of the olympics qualifiers roster but the slovak pro-russian goverment and Satan are insisting that we have to invite slovak players from khl. So Dvorsky was cut from the roster.

If this is true the Slovak government is literally making a roster

M. Pospisil is currently rethinking his decision of participating in the tournament.

I recommend you to use precise terms, otherwise you may be labeled as an untrustworthy contributor to this forum.

I am 10000000000000% sure that no Russian citizen will play for Slovak NT at upcoming Olympics qualification.

So Miro won’t invite the future of the Slovak national team down the middle. Think of Slovak C’s who was the last good to great one??? Or maybe he thinks his own son will be a top line NHLer ? Insanity

He's going to AHL Springfield to play for Steve Konowalchuk, Jaroslav Modry and some guy named Chad Wiseman who I assume is a wise man or else why would his name say it. So there you have it, two former NHLers and Chad the Wise to guide him, he's all set.

He was just alright I thought. Pekarcik probably had more flashes. Dvorsky really needs to engage more physically. He is 6 foot 1 and 200+ lbs and yet rarely plays like it. He will need to change that heading into the ahl next season

He should go to the AHL, but I really disagree with this. Dvorsky showed way more skill and two-way play than Pecarcik. And Dvorsky uses his body a lot on the forecheck and along the boards. He has repeatedly ended up in shoving matches because he's always engaged and annoying defenders.

Yes I was surprised by that comment because from what I've seen in OHL and WJCs, he uses his body. He's not throwing hits all the time, but he uses body position and isn't afraid to go in traffic.

I remember few years ago this was his weakness. Now it is good to hear that he is using his body.

I don't think it's a strength. Like he's not using his body like a Tkachuk or Leonard, but he's not a perimeter player either.
