I have no idea who this kid is or what he has done yet, but wow - 33 goals, 49 points; 21 more than his closest teammate, with historically some pretty good programs playing in that tournament.

Looks like he is on a stacked team but man, those numbers are insane…

Lol you literally posted this in the Brick thread:

“Creepy we’re looking at 12 year olds and judging them already. Gross actually. Wish the Brick would take a book out of the GTHL and not publish the stats. These kids should be playing the gamefor fun at this age.”

You post that and then create multiple threads on Brick kids? Holy ego. Pick a side bud

He is the best player this tournament has seen since Sidney Crosby. He is the next one, should be better than his idol Auston Matthews.

I mean it's really tough to say. As I mentioned in other thread Coombe has a good size advantage right now. And while I won't take anything away from his game there are a lot of kids 9-10 that could very well get that growth spurt and it'll do wonders for their game. Guys like Coombe make it look easy as they are stronger and they have a longer reach that makes things look simple out there for them.

With all that being said, the one thing this kid real has going for him is he isn't just offense. His overall hockey IQ is amazing, knows where to be, where to go, follows a game plan real well etc... I think to have those types of skills already is more impressive than the offense talent to be honest. Thinking the game the way he does at his age is quite impressive.

Caesars dominated Group B, out-scoring opponents 56-2 in four games with forwards Cameron Coombe, Colin Kim, Parker Miller and Luke Merdinian leading the way. They accounted for 80 percent of the team’s offense over the weekend, and earned Caesars the top seed in a four-team playoff.

How would I like to see Cole Caufield's videos of this tournament in 2011. He must have been very small.

Coombe is a head taller than the others. Even if the game is not focused on physical combat, it must play for confidence. I have a good feeling about his teammate George.

Lock these threads ffs, these kids are 10 years old and all these threads popping up around kids playing in bricks borders on creepy
Disagree - This kid is the real deal, he has a really talented older brother too. They should have kept the Tep one open also, they‘re going to be discussed in the near future anyway. It’ll be a fun time capsule to open when they’re draft eligibles.

Could this kid be something special someday? I think so. dominating the Brick and scored 33 goals in 6 games at a tournament.
10 years old.

Let’s not subject children to this nonsense. Maybe when they start doing things that are more impressive as young adults, but the kid is 10.
