Extremly talented forward out of the USA and one of the top talents among the 2008 born US age group. Nimmer is a very exiting player to watch, he combines amazing speed, acceleration and agility with great pucks skills that allow him to make plays on the rush frequently. He makes passes that don’t seem possible at times, he is able to manipulate defences to his will to open up passing lanes for himself. While Nimmer is small, that’s likely due to his age - he doesn’t go down easy. He is very strong on his feet, and is able to use his body to fend off Checks well.

All in all a promising kid to follow moving forward.

I saw Nimmer for the first time today. The kid is on the smaller side but he's only an 08. He is fast, strong with the puck, and decisive. Great passer too. When he's on the ice, it's impossible not to notice his skill. He is one of the best kids I saw today at Nationals. Definitely one to watch for the NTDP in a couple years.
