According to nhl.com Bishop and Holtby will start. Hopefully that doesn't mean Bishop has the inside track to the backup job.

JVR, Schneider and E. Johnson are the scratches for the US. Quick starts again tonight.

Weber v Kesler

That rat Kesler needs his face punched in.

I'd like to see ...

Tavares - Crosby - Stamkos
Couture - Giroux - Seguin
Marchand - Toews - Bergeron
Thornton - Getzlaf - Perry

Quick starting tonight? Is Sutter the coach? Quick doesn't have a good record back to back...Will be interesting to see, he did play 2 periods though but he saw 33 shots.

-Canada looked quite soft last night. Losing every 50-50 puck battle in the corners. Guys like Seguin, Stamkos, Tavares, etc. aren't used to having to win puck battles every shift. We will see if they feel like rolling their sleeves up this game.

-Byfuglien is the ultimate weapon. He's always the baddest guy on the ice, Canada will take no liberties with him out there. Glad we have him.

-Canada's D were vastly outplayed by the U.S' blueline in game 1. Small sample size but it was noticeable. Suter and Carlson looked especially sharp.

-Have to think Canada comes back with a vengeance in this one.

Why wasn't Benn picked? Did he decline or is injured?

I'd like to see ...

Tavares - Crosby - Stamkos
Couture - Giroux - Seguin
Marchand - Toews - Bergeron
Thornton - Getzlaf - Perry

Interesting I thought the Marchand Crosby Bergeron line was best by far I would never even dream of spilting em up.

Don't **** with Sid's line. He's a creature of habit, and he just understands how to play with Bergeron.

Would expect Bishop to play 2 periods and Schneider to play 1 but it's obvious Bishop will be the #2 goalie

Just a guess, but after Quick was pulled I was thinking the USA coaches want to see each goalie play 2 periods. Tonight will tell, obviously.

After his superb play, Quick surely will be the starter. Would much prefer Schneider as backup. Bishop is talented, no question, but so erratic, and a single bonehead decision could be a deciding factor in a brief tournament like this.

Backes and Niskanen scratched and JVR and Erik Johnson are in the lineup. Sure wish we got to see a lineup without Abdelkader or Jack Johnson in it but seems they're locks to be starting once the tournament gets underway
