Marchand, Beleksey, Vatrano,, DeBrusk (1st in AHL forwards in shots), Heinen (7 goals in 10 AHL games), Gabrielle, Bjork are all left handed wingers. I appreciate wanting Kane to be the Horton on that line, but Bruins would be better served waiting at LW for the kids and upgrading elsewhere.

Im in the minority of Sabre fans that want to keep him. If he were to be moved, we would target a similar aged top 4 left handed dman

Would prospects work? I love Guhle but if you want him I'd throw him in there instead of Bailey/Baptiste to get a good offensive LHD like Krug to play with Risto

Kane's value is at an all time low, only way I make a deal for him is if the Sabres retain 50% salary and take back MacQuaid and/or Hayes with a couple B prospects like Fitzgerald and Arnesson(who by the way is not a bad young D Man). Not even sure I would do that as Kane is a major head case off the ice and recently called out his own teammates. Doubt you get much back for him.

He has that type of value, the stigma that he is a bad guy may eliminate some teams from knocking on the door. Ultimately i hope they keep him and extend him in the offseason.

At some point it's no longer "stigma" and becomes "truth". Like it or not, but he is a bad guy. A headache that most teams won't be willing to deal with. Especially if you think his value is a similar age, top 4 D.

I'd be interested in knowing which similar top 4 D you think he could fetch in a trade?

No he really doesn't.

If he did, Ben Hutton would be a Buffalo Sabre and EKane a Vancouver Canuck right now. His value is about what Canucks fans were offering in Sbisa Dorsett over the Kane to Vancouver threads.

I am not here to turn this into a back and forth about his value. It is a stigma as the only issues are the tracksuit which to me did not warrant the coverage and the missing practice due to the nba all star game. The other issues never materialized. Again i dont want to move him, he has been a good teammate by all accounts and he brings an element that our team needs.

What element is that cuz doesn't he get paid 5 plus million and just scored his first tonight? Sorry bro.. kane has negative valu . His cap hit alone makes him somewhat untradable unless you take crap back

Might as well close this thread. The sabres won't be selling kane for scraps. They expect actual value, and barring that, will keep him.

The majority of Bruins fans might not want him, but a few of us think he'd be a great upgrade on our left wing. Wondering what Buffalo would want back. And would you take jimmy Hayes as part of the deal for cap purposes??

Oh good lord no.

Sabres fan that loves Kane. No, we don't trade him. Sure he can be infuriating with his choices in the offensive zone but it's nice to have a power forward that hits, checks, and goes 100 miles an hour.

If we were to trade him my guess is Murray would look for prospects that could be protected from the expansion draft.

That really isn't a stigma, it's a well earned reputation. I'm not saying he can't or hasn't changed, I am saying he has earned his reputation and really has done nothing to make it any better, he has just made it worse.

Left wing is one spot the Bruins are ok.

Could use a right winger and defense.
