Biggest issue is the lack of puck moving right handed defenseman. 7 left handed defenseman who aren't very good with the puck is exactly the opposite what made Marjamäki's teams successful in the past.

So technically there's still plenty of hope for the WHC team with Ristolainen and others being potentially available, but any EHT squad without Juuso Hietanen is SOL.

Yeah, Sweden 4-3 in OT. They obviously have way more 3 vs 3 experience, than KHL players.

Overall, we probably looked better, than Swedes, just sucked on PK. Not sure, whom Sweden will add, but we didn't have the 1st line (Panarin - Shipachev - Dadonov), which will obviously help us.

We didn't play good team defense at all, but it got a little better. Läck gave up one huge softie. I think both teams had a good attitude but were rusty and took bad penalties.

Nice. Today we are also celebrating 70 years anniversary of our first WHC title in 1947 and we will play first period against swedes in 1947 sweaters replicas.
