Better than Allan. At least at the WJC18 he was. And by a lot. Was one of the standouts there. Big, mean stay at home defenseman. I'd consider that a steal.

For a mid round pick, it's a good selection. Again, he was very good at the WJC18. Outplayed Allan there.

Del Mastro made the Allan pick somewhat unneeded, IMO....of course, they didn't know they were going to get him either......he's got some fire to his game, need that in the arsenal.

You can find AHLers and bottom pairing D for league minimum contracts that can give you what Allan gives you.
All Allan has is age.
Well guess what? He's way behind on the depth chart of guys that also have age on their side.
Mitchell, Beaudin, Kaiser, Phillips, Crevier, Regula, Kalynuk, Galvas are all better than that bum.
Nolan Allan is a bonafide Graham Knott level scrub.
Yeah I'm very much thinking Del Mastro - Jones in two or three years.

Wow!, another insightful post from this clown, bashes 18 - 20 year old players and yet never offers any thoughtful reasoning for his opinions. Just the same old garbage spewed… bum, scrub, bust.
If you have nothing more to add then your usual unsupported criticism, no one can even remotely take your opinions seriously.
Raty was the pick there, not Allan. Needed depth at C. And they went for a sub par def d. Could have had Pastujov instead of Dach. And that’s depth.
