Bob is made for the NFL Jets, not Hockey. I like his voice for the Jets but it just doesn't work for a speed paced game like hockey

During a game last week, he ran through the playoff scenerio during every stoppage in play to the point where it became overly annoying. Once every 15-20 minutes of real clock time would suffice to accommodate new viewers as well as not infuriate those watching from the beginning

We had it way too good, but Doc almost always got the Capitals/Rangers/Penguins/Blackhawks assignments.

Can't wait for Jason Robertson to be called Robinson nonstop. I get Johnston being called Johnson on occasion, he's rookie, but Robertson isn't an unknown commodity. f***ing clowns.

That’s because NBC used announcers that more regularly called hockey and worked for the regionals or TSN when not calling games for NBC. They all had year experience and called upwards of 80+ games a year. The experience showed.

TNT/TBS uses many of the same talent NBC did and the contrast with ESPN is stark.
