Let's go. Blockbuster. Things are not going well in Edmonton and they badly need help on defense. Karlsson is still elite, only 2 points back of Draisatl. Can play 28 minutes a game for you, massively improves Edmonton's ability to break out which is a massive issue. And they get out of the Campbell contract while adding a vet goalie who is affordable and playing well.

Sharks add a massive piece up front with the option of flipping him for a haul given his lower caphit, more teams would be interested than vs Karlsson. Campbell still has the potential to be a good goalie and maybe going out of the spotlight and back to California he will find success again.

Cap is almost perfectly even, have at it.

If Campbell is perceived to be a cap dump, I don’t know what world you trade Draisatl with a dump attached to him.

I love Karlsson as much as the next guy, but I don’t see Edmonton buying as high as they can on Karlsson and selling as low as they can in Campbell.

Toronto should have traded Matthews and Mrazek for the same Sharks players last year after their slide.

If Karlsson was 7 years younger and with no injury history this would be plausible, as it stands I re-iterate what post #2 said.

Oilers need someone like a Slavin, not a defensive black hole like EK. Draisaitl certainly isn't going anywhere either, especially not for that price.

Perfect way for Edmonton to continue their history of fixing holes with an even bigger mistake!

As an Oilers fan and polite Canadian I will respectfully decline. As in WTF?!?!
