Lol Tampa isn't giving up on 2 of their key defenders on good contracts.
Dean Lolbardi was so smartStill makes me sick to my stomach to think we traded Cernak for a few months of Ben f***ing Bishop.
Both of their contracts run out 2022-2023. There will be enough money by then to sign them. Although Sergachev might price himself out of Tampa. If it comes down to Tampa having to trade Sergachev, there will be plenty of suitors so I think the price will be higher than most people think. The "Tampa Cap Problems" thread probably won't have to be made that year. If Sergachev stays on his trajectory, a mid/low (around 20's) first and good prospect wouldn't be too far of a reach. Both are restricted free agents this year. Sergachev actual salary this year was over 7 million so next year’s contract I believe has to be higher than that. Both great players and yes, no doubt Tampa wants to keep them, just wondering if Tampa will be able to keep them.
Sorry, I misread cap friendly. The 21/22 column is gone. Both contracts are real good deals and yes, Tampa should keep them and go for another run. Your team is completely stacked. If Sergachev ever did become available I hope LA is one of the suitorsBoth of their contracts run out 2022-2023. There will be enough money by then to sign them. I don't think Cernak will go anywhere. He is pretty irreplaceable, while Sergachev is a complete luxury.
LA needs toughness and size on the back end.Cernak
LA needs more RHD?
The fact that Sergachev "plays on Tampa's 3rd pair" is a big reason why they are so good tho.I think Sergachev could be get this off-season. He makes too much money to be played on Tampa’s bottom pair and Tampa need the cap space to re-sign Palat.

What does Miller have to do with Sergachev? If J.T Miller goes for like a top 5 pick I don't even want to imagine Sergachev's value right now. I shit on the guy constantly but he's saved his best hockey for now and Bah Gawd King it's glorious
Kings dont do that come onFine.
I don't know man; prospects are a big unknown.Kings dont do that come on
3rd + Turcotte + WalkerProvorov for 2023 1st (unprotected) + Turcotte.

Byfield is looking like a career 3rd liner and Turcotte probably spends most of the time as an AHL'er at this point. Take risks.
