Still looking on that information,Brandon Day was taken into custody by the SUNY Broome Police.

As of 9:00 p.m. on Sunday evening, Day remains in custody.

Police tell 7ABC that the incident is still under investigation and couldn't confirm anything more.

Anger issues for sure. I've been mad at refs plenty of times and will verbally give them the business, but that's ****ing stupid. Unless the ref swings at me, no reason for that...

Jesus....the way the refs head bounces off the ice. Ive whacked my head on the ice with helmet and cage on and its ****ing jarring. Worst part is ref wasnt even looking at the guy so he wasnt expecting it and had no way to brace or prepare for the fall. On top of being an idiot he's a huge ***** that needs to be locked up and never let on a rink again. There's literally no place in the game for.
