Speculation: Eric Fehr to San Diego (AHL)

According to the AHL transaction page Toronto's Eric Fehr has been assigned (The word "loan" wasn't used) to San Diego (Anaheim's AHL affiliate). Anybody hear of a trade or anything like that?

I'm pretty sure it's a loan situation. Leafs still own him. Just gets the guy a chance to play.

If Anaheim wanted to call him up, then they would have to trade something for him.

Same situation as Kaskuio(I know that's not spelled right) and Vegas' minor league team. We've done this more frequently recently, too much depth on the Marlies and everyone can't play, gives our guys playing time elsewhere and gives those minor league teams depth if they're experiencing injuries which both the Ducks and Vegas minor league teams have been in those positions.
