**Heads up - this is a daylight savings weekend, so times are a little weird on Sunday**

Matchweek 28, we're almost down to single digits matches remaining! The battle of Europe remains tight, and the matchweek kicks off with Forest looking to keep City at bay in Nottingham. Elsewhere, Brighton hosts Fulham, and while a match between 8 and 9 would normally be thought of as a midtable bout, a Brighton win could propel them as high as 5th, although it would have to be a very impressive win combined with an impressive Chelsea loss, and as Chelsea is hosting Leicester City, that proposition seems unlikely. On the bottom side of the table, Wolves host Everton without key attacker Matheus Cunha. Everton is likely safe and a Wolves win would do a lot to give them breathing room, as a loss combined with an Ipswich (who's on the road against Crystal Palace) or Leicester win would drag Wolves back into the thick of a relegation fight. Speaking of a relegation fight, United will look to take advantage of a battered Arsenal, with United potentially dropping as low as 16th with a loss and Everton and West Ham (hosting Newcastle) picking up points.

I was going to complain that ours don't change until later, but then I checked when, and it's on the 30th and I have a flight I just booked on the 30th, so I'm going to have to also thank for the clock change reminder because it's going to be particularly relevant

That happened to me one time. I didn’t realize and spent overnight in the Denver airport.

This is typical from both VVD and Alisson. Not the first time they screwed up like that. I think VVD should have cleared it to corner no point in letting that ball go like that.

Now on the LFC performance. Absolute disgraceful. PSG clearly broke them, they look like the bottom table team.

Liverpool defence messes up.
The annual Virgil/Alisson miscommunication goal. Happens at least once a season

The forward line has been awful. Would change all three Szoboszlai isn’t in the game at all. Would probably swap him for Alexis.

Some combination of tired from midweek/saving gas for Tuesday. Not on it at all

Szoboszlai who isn't the fastest player anyway looks dead tired today, Liverpool has to rotate a bit if they want anything out of the CL
His skill set also isn’t really needed in a game like this. I’d imagine the sports scientists thought Alexis needed the break more than he did and that picked the lineup. You say LFC have to rotate a bit, which is not untrue, but we’ve basically been picking 3 midfielders from 4 options all season. Alexis will come in at some point, but No one else is coming.

Three halftime subs.

Alexis, Elliott & Robertson in
Jones, Szoboszlai & Tsimikas out

Don’t really agree with taking Jones out. Can’t really argue the others ones. I guess Elliott is playing #10 which is interesting because Slot has more or less played him on the right; but it’s certainly more offense

Nunez staking his claim to start the 2nd leg. Sweet finish.
If they start a striker it should be him. I’d still rather play the XI that played Man City with the extra midfielder though. Diogo was pretty good (all things considered) off the ball on Wednesday but he doesn’t have the speed to threaten the PSG backline.

Also kind of like starting Darwin because if he is having a bad Darwin game you can recognize it early and take him off. Nothing is worse for LFC than need a goal and getting the bad version of Darwin off the bench
