This "matchweek" kicks off with a rescheduled derby after a slight breeze made Merseysiders hide. A midweek Merseyside derby promises to see some folks wake up having a very, very bad Thursday. The matchweek proper sees a London derby on Saturday, with West Ham hosting Brentford. Elsewhere, the battle for European spots is heating up, including a south coast derby when Southampton takes on Bournemouth, but also featuring Brighton hosting Chelsea, Villa welcoming Ipswich, Newcastle traveling to City, and Fulham clashing with Forest. We also get a relegation six pointer, as Spurs host United in a battle for which Big 6 club is having the silliest season. With the proper results, we could end the matchweek with United and Spurs in 14th and 16th place respectively. Luckily there's quite a gap from 16th to 17th, so they should be safe.
