Walker thought he had the pace to show Werner the outside and still catch up to him, but Werner just absolutely roasted him for speed.

That doesn’t happen to Walker basically ever.
I was just about to post, “did I just see Werner outrun Kyle Walker?” I guess I did.

Season-to-season comparison (same fixtures, with the three-up, three-down promoted sides compared based on their Championship positions, i.e. beating Leicester is compared with beating Burnley because they both came up as 1st in the Champ):

The only two fixtures where our result this year has been worse? City and Palace at home.

We have already played 5 of our 11 losses from last year, and are 2-2-1 in those games.

yes i know but i am hoping that we will remain ahead of arsenal for as long as possible hahaha

Doesn't really matter which of them finishes 2nd and which 3rd, does it?

Both will be well behind Liverpool. Hopefully Arsenal goes far in Europe, so they'll struggle for health & fitness, Conf.League isn't similar strain for Chelsea until the SF/F matches.

It feels like he spends a ton of time walking around and pointing where other players should go instead of actually doing anything useful himself.

Gundogan did the same in one of the goals, inexcusable for him to stop following Maddison and pointing to CBs to mark him, when their attention was completely elsewhere.

We knew City would struggle without Rodri, but with Kovacic out too and CBs half-fit, they've completely collapsed.

Guardiola can now show if he is a good coach without having a super line-up at his disposal.

Sacked in the morning?

No, he just resigned, so he will lead them in League one after financial/points penalties.

Walker thought he had the pace to show Werner the outside and still catch up to him, but Werner just absolutely roasted him for speed.

That doesn’t happen to Walker basically ever.

Actually, I've seen Walker getting beaten for speed several times this season. I think age has finally caught up with him.

City would do well to replace him already in January.

It's actually a little known Barclays bylaw that Manchester must contain one bald fraud at all times. What a season we're in for.
