It's going to be an awesome race with Michkov ending up with more points (slightly more GP advantage with 8 at this point) versus the 200 way game of Celebrini and a small part of me wants Celebrini to win because there will be more false outrage from their side than if Celebrini loses.

Either way we have 2 excellent players here who are going to be stars and perhaps superstars for a long time.

I thought that Stank might have a chance before the season but he simply doesn't get enough PP TOI compared to the 2 front runners and Hutson just doesn't have the 2 way game to be in the race like faber did last year.

Wolf probably rounds out my top 5 if I had a ballot.

Both players will be superstars, no one would be this pissed or aggressive on the board if only they had 1st line upside lol😂

That wasn't my point but thank you for making my point for me.:DD

That’s what I’m here for, although you post was better than mine 😬. Definitely one of my favorite years watching hockey, should be a great finish. I highlighted/bolded in the quote what I was referring to lol

Don't say this to the 8 sharks fans in here, they're going to go banana's lmaoo. Michkov will continue to widen the gap, I watch both players, its easy to catch Sharks games in an Asia time zone. It's so obvious even beyond the advanced stats that absolutely back it up lol. I just found out the other day someone saying how they have a whole thread dedicated to talking about people who support Michkov on main boards, but we're the copers hahahaha. Celebrini will be a great player but he will never win a Hart or a Ross imo, it is what it is, even his durability is in question and he's only 18, these things matter.
I still think Michkov is going to win the Calder, but you can't seriously be ragging on Sharks fans for having a pro-Celebrini thread in their own board? When you're posting about how Demidov (?!) is better than Celebrini... inside the Lane Hutson thread?

Celebrini is a near PPG 18 year-old with excellent analytics and a nearly 50% face-off win percentage while playing as a 1C against top-level competition. You've said you don't have a personal vendetta or anything against him but I find it hard to believe given you seem to think so poorly about him (despite his objectively impressive resume to date) that you're going out of your way to call him worse than a player who's never seen NHL ice in a thread that has nothing to do with either of them.

I'm not even one of these Sharks fans who doesn't like Michkov. I have a soft-spot for Russian wingers (I was, embarrassingly, one of those delusional Ovechkin-is-better-than-Crosby 'copers' back in the day) and think he has the potential to be the best wing in the league since Kucherov.

The way he puts his stick down and angles it makes it look like he did it on purpose also lol.

Part of me thinks he wanted a freebie goal for himself. Oops.

-2 today, accidentally took a sure goal away from his own team, and now 2 in a row without a point. None of those are a big deal at all and Michkov is awesome, but I do know what a couple Michkov fans would be saying if Celebrini had this outcome (based on how they’ve acted in the past).

Celebrini: .95ppg
Michkov: .93ppg

Michkov continues his magic of being the vastly superior offensive talent despite a lower PPG.

Perhaps we could chill? Just enjoy two spectacular rookies. No one is winning or losing the calder tonight.
