Now let me make this clear I don't want us to trade Enroth at all, I like him I think he's a quality backup however Kari Ramo was on the ice for us and is practicing with the team and you have to think that doesn't happen if they aren't interested in signing him.

So it leafs me to believe Enroth might be on his way out of town if he is what could we get from a team that needs a goalie?

If either team wanted an average tier backup they would just sign Ramo rather than give up assets for Enroth who is marginally better.

Maybe they'd rather give up a pick for a goalie who is marginally better and under control on a cheap contract rather than gambling on Ramo coming off a serious injury choosing them as a destination in the process losing out on Enroth as well when they could have payed a fee and upgraded the situation.

The Leafs have 2 retention slots. Enroth at a 375K cap hit starts to look pretty sweet for a cap team in need of a decent goalie for the season.

Condon just got a 5th. Enroth could do better.

I got the impression that he was a bit miffed with LA for not getting enough games behind Quick. He was ok but not worth much in a trade.

This. He wasn't happy about the lack of games he got in LA. Doubt he'd be happy coming back.
