Great GM and staff, great coach. Culture has completely turned around and ownership is willing to spend to the cap. Team has a solid identity and the leadership structure is superb.

We've got a top 5 center, a top 5 defenseman, and a top 5 goalie in the league. 1 win away from a Stanley Cup, 1 year away from the WCF against Chicago, 2 years away from our first cup.

Core is either in their prime, or young. Good role players, kids have been infused into the roster to supplement. Decent pipeline of talent coming.

There's never been a better time to be a Kings fan. Let's hope this is the start of a Detroit-ian run for the next 20 years.

I think we all praise and worship the ground he walks on but DL doesnt get enough credit around the NHL...Him and his plan/vision are the reason we are where we are.

Its surely a good time to be a Kings fan
 
I would definitely change the word decent in regards to our pipeline. We have a few high end talents down there and one or two with elite potential too.

Other than that I couldn't agree more. THANK YOU PHILLIP A AND FAMILY!!!

You guys have been seriously impressive throughout the postseason, the first three games of the San Jose series aside. Being a Bruins fan, I really appreciate the way the Kings are built, especially when it's so laughable when fans of "super exciting high scoring teams" call the Kings boring. I find LA very enjoyable to watch and they deserve the Cup they're about to win, probably tomorrow night.

I would really enjoy playing you guys in the SCF, I think it would be dynamite and probably one of the more exciting SCF's we would see in a while. Wanna reserve a date same time next year? :laugh:

Congrats and enjoy it, I know it's cliche but you never know when it happens again.

Personally, I was glad the habs had knocked you guy out, because you guys are one team on the EC that I fear. In any case, we still have one BIG game to win, but thanks for your well wishes.
 
Well, when i started to watch hockey(2006) and decided to be a Kings fan the players i got used to watch were Clouthier, Willsie, Ivanans... and later Gauthier, Calder, etc. I dont regret about my choice now :)

I am NOT happy that the Habs knocked out the Bruins because this Final would be WAY better if it was Bruins-Kings. Much lower probability of winning for the Kings, but it would have been a better series.

I don't know what you're talking about, but the first 2 games have been very exciting. Sure, the bruins would have provided us with a tougher matchup, but the rags could also be easily be ahead 2-1 in the series, if not for a play here or there.

Bottom line is, I mostly care that we win the cup.
