I can see how much everyone cares when there's not even a thread about it  It was confirmed a bit earlier this season.

Not surprised given he's a Leaf and the zero tolerance they want to 'try' to impose contact to the high.

Wasn't necessarily intentional, Engvall was just careless with his stick/size which is his own doing.

Not vicious, but he swung his stick and deliberately targeted the head.

I agree there should/could have been a diving call too, but other than that, the call on the ice and the suspension are right.

I don't have a problem with him sitting for a game. I do think he's getting the short end of the deal a tad as that goofball Durzi was the one that instigated that nonsense with the high stick of his own. Oh well -- that's hockey.

Yeah these types of thangs should of course be suspended.

We will also keep winning our games as the road continues against the awful sutter flames tomorrow. It doesnt matter who plays for us. Our structure is so much much better than theirs.

Too bad. Probably deserves it I guess. Your ahead in the game and take a dumb 5 minute penalty. Maybe this will learn him.

Drop your stick and grab Durzi and give him a face wash.

Hitting him with your stick to his head is just a stupid decision.

Looking at the relay, surprised he didn’t get more. He wacked his stick to Drai’s head and missed.

If anyone cares to watch the entire replay Durzi goes at Egvall with a high stick to the face that Engvall blocked.

Glad to see Engvall do something physical for a change, even if it resulted in one game off. Was disappointed when we traded Durzi at the time but in retrospect I wouldn't want to ever see that puke wearing a Leaf jersey.

I remember the Kings 400 IQing us by "choosing" him over Liljegren, funny how things work out.

Did Durzi get anything for embellishing?

That dive would make Roberto Baggio proud.

Nice that the kid had 200 friends and family present to hear him boo’d the rest of the game though….

Unlike many of you guys I like what Engvall brings to our lineup. Could he be a little more physical? For his size, yes, but he is an excellent skater, good at the cycle, and chips in some offence every now and then. I hope we manage to keep him in the fold.

Please do not disrespect Roberto Baggio. Neymar would have been a more appropriate selection.

And yes I agree. It was refreshing to be reminded every once in awhile that the ACC has a pulse.
