I have been thinking that IF a Canucks/Bruins trade was going to happen, both teams would be sending guys down for cap purposes and then pulling the trigger AFTER the Mom's trip. On the main board I suggested any movement would start Sunday. Both teams send players to waivers today...

canucks don't need a 25 minute a night left hand dman and it would cause them to underutilize dahlin or highes is they did this. they are better off acquiring power or byram for less treasure and cap hit.

as for buffalo, ep40 makes sense as the main piece in a dahlin trade and is more or less what they need to get for him as the main piece.

If offered Dahlin for EP40 straight up. I’d jump on that so fast if I was the Nucks. Try finding a Top Pair RHD, it’s near impossible. One with Dahlin’s skill set, even harder.

I’d even throw Garland with EP40 just to get trade sealed.
