I think him and Forsberg would do great on a line together. Two Swedes same age as well. Best friends in the making! Lol

What would it take to get Lindholm cantering our first line with Filip?
What do the flames want ideally from us?

How fast is Nashville trying to get this retool done? Seems a little weird going for Lindholm already but I guess they have the draft picks to trade if Calgary wants futures

Noone really knows. Josi and forsberg are aging and trotz is noncommittal just saying we need to get out of the squishy middle and have a need for an actual top line center. So just speculation from fans. Some of us think we are going full rebuild others are hoping for a quick turn around

I guess if he wont trade Saros and Josi its hard to bottom out. Maybe right and adding some talent to the team.

I guess the question becomes what kind of mix of futures/play now players Calgary would want

Lindholm and #16 doesn't land 5th OA, come on man. Lindholm has a lot of trade value but not nearly that much
Really?

A #1 Selke caliber centre and a prospect like ASP, Perrault, Barlow etc. doesn’t land a player like Michkov or Smith? I’m not saying it will happen but it’s not some stupid pie in the sky fantasy like you are suggesting.

Thats the sticking point. He mentions not wanting to trade "game changers" but also "you've gotta listen on everyone". If we dont trade saros, we cant bottom out (unless someone tonya hardings him) but he left enough wiggle room to where if we got a great offer he could take it.

Flames don’t need players back. Use half there AHL players from last years good team and sign some UFAs to get by for 3-4 years
