glad it was him instead of someone important, like everyone stated here someone had to punish Hagel for what he did at game 2. I was in doubt and expecting no one does a shit (panthers way) but glad I was wrong, the fact he even scored twice after the hit was just too fun. It's baffling that it wasn't called, as it was a rather obvious penalty, but overall it seems like a missed minor to me.

That's kind of how I see it now that I've managed to cool off from watching the game. My husband and I were, needless to say, quite upset when it happened, and Aaron Ekblad isn't the kind of guy you exactly give the benefit of the doubt. Definitely worthy of a minor penalty, but probably a stretch to assess a major for it. Of course, had it been called a major (and upheld as one on review), I wouldn't exactly have complained about it.

I'd give all 3 at least a game suspension. Not a fan of either team, but its much better to have stars playing in the Stanley cup instead of just the survivors. Winning the cup shouldn't also come with a lifetime of CTE.

Hit sucked, and should have been a penalty. But seems kind of clear the injury was head-to-ice, rather than from the hit itself.

Wouldn't have been mad with a 5, definitely a 2, I personally don't see a suspension but have been surprised before!

That's John McIsaac. I'm absolutely certain that he saw what happened. He just took his look at it and decided to not call anything for some reason.
