Sorry guys but I have trouble believing that MacKinnon can go from 33 pts in 17 games for a whopping 1.94 ppg to 3 pts in his last 8 games for 0.375 ppg since the very day that nuke returned from suspension. I don't think he forgot how to play hockey but he tends to play like this when there's a guy in the locker room that just shouldn't be there.

No he’s definitely playing slower for some weird reason. I don’t know what it is, part of it is him trying to make a big play every time he has the puck. Sometimes he’s just gotta settle for a safer play. Whatever the case he and MacKinnon have little to no confidence in their own ability to score.
