I enjoy watching other fanbases (mostly flames) argue that our defense and goaltending suck, yet we give up the 8th fewest ga/g.

So if that was true, we wouldnt be anywhere close to top 10.

Its the inventible contradiction in the way most on the mains view the Oilers. Basically it comes down to everyone other than McDavid succeeds only because of McDavid. But McDavid is not worthy of praise because he cannot raise other players games enough to win a cup like say a Claude Lemieux I guess.
