Lol nah. For example, not the Kings fans, they'll happily tell you when their players suck and have no value. Meanwhile fanbases like Habs and Leafs will look you in the eye and tell you their 3rd line struggling overpaid winger should return a 1st lol.

Every single team in the league has prospects that their fans have high hopes for. Not every team in the league gets crapped on in this forum for letting someone go who continues to fail at the NHL level, and have that pointed out by others when that player is being waived by another team.

I really didn’t see any team bothering with a claim on a D who was somewhere 10th to 12th on our depth chart either.
But Utah is full of injuries and desperate for warm bodies to fill the gaps.
Dermot probably passes through but who knows maybe there is another desperate team out there.

Yeh I've heard your fanbase size theory before, I get what you are saying, but don't fully buy it, and wrong thread to get into it. And I could point to certain posters who have done the same to Oilers threads, but seriously, way off topic here.

its not a theory, if one fanbase had double the amount of another for example. would you not expect to see more threads from the fans that double the other teams?

alot of kids on here too or just obnoxious opinionated people. we all fall victim to this at one point. I bet there aren;t many people on here who have never received a warning at some point.

but yes we are off topic either way there was a point where Dermott had alot of upside to be a top4 Dman, the problem is he never took that next step. was a time where he played pretty decent given his age and experience. really is a shame. oh well he will have an successful career over seas playing for much less
