Games like this make no sense to me, why not reward the team who's dominating possession and scoring chances with a few powerplays? The Isles have been given an insane amount of leeway on what constitutes "defense", plenty of free hand grabs on Bruins which are beating them and outworking them along the boards.

In no world should the Isles have a 2-1 PP advantage.

Refs "putting the whistles away" hurts almost as much as calling all the ticky tack stuff.

If it's not an even game and one team is relying on infractions to prevent scoring chances you're giving them a big advantage.

Bruins haven't really chased the play too often so far tonight so they don't get the advantage

I'll say the same thing I said after Washington game 1.. we are absolutely the better team in just about every aspect and it shows on the ice, I'm not worried about this one singular game - I do hope they win tonight but it's a 7 game series.
