Depends if Bob is on. If he isn't, they can be caved. Also depends if refs allow them to do whatever they want (which they usually do). Hope for the best. The only thing better than making one Tkachuk cry would be making two cry. Actually I guess it would be making 4 cry (given they both already cried from 4 Nations).

Bennett and Marchand know to expect it, so go for it, FAFO.

However, your challenging response doesn’t present a logical equivalence. The Hagel hit was 100% inappropriate. The puck was nowhere near. He targeted a star player.

I know you think Knies was a star player two years ago, but he wasn’t. He barely is now. The Bennett hit on Knies is not equivalent to the Hagel hit on Barkov in two ways: not a star level player and where the puck was. But, if one of our guys like Bennett takes out Marner when he doesn’t have the puck and can’t possibly expect a hit, that would be an equivalent situation.
Who knows what a "star" is? What we know is he had more goals at 22 than all but one Panther. He would also be leading the Panthers in goals in the playoffs. So he's highly talented and valuable.

As much as I can't stand the Panthers, there is is nothing worse than seeing the Leafs succeed. I really believe Toronto makes the finals this year, and if I were a betting man I take them in this series. But I hope they lose decisively, and I am actually rooting for the Panthers even though it pains me. Very conflicted as these are my two least favorite teams in all of sports...but not the Leafs please

I've been watching for parts of 6 decades so you must be pretty old.
